JWC, Just Want Coffee - The factory 30

JWC cafe that has amazed me the first time i came here. Every part of the area was a surprise, was an entire whole new experience and vibe. I never wanted to leave the place the moment i stepped into this amazing place. This place is so successful that they actually had 2 big coffee roaster machines displayed.

If you think the place is close, it actually isnt. the entrance door is just beside the shutter! Lets have a tour into the place shall we? The moment you went in, the rusty vintage factory kind of vibe just shook and amazes you!

On the 1st floor,

- In front of you, there is a huge staircase to the 2nd floor, and a big JWC welcoming you.
- On the left hand side, there is a counter, where not only do you pay your bills, there is also variety of cakes and desserts stationed just beside it.
- On the right, there is 2 cushion seats with tables situated beside the 2 displayed coffee roaster machine. A long table situated in the middle, Coffee beans where you can buy home decorated with some of the barista equips on the left.
- Behind the long table situated in the middle, there is a coffee area which is separated into two sections. The filter brew section and the espresso latte art section.
- Able to seat at the filter brew section which allows barista to showcase the different types of brew to you!

On the 2nd floor,

- More cushion seating on the left and right area but kinda contain limit space to walk in between each tables.
- Unique thing about the cafe is the ceiling area are hanged with sacks of coffee beans from different country. Dont worry about it falling down onto you as its only stuffed with cotton!

Moving on to food, we ordered 3 main course.
Let's talk about each of them.

Hungry Jack big breakfast (RM28.5 ~ SGD$9)
- Omelette: I liked it less overcooked where it gets flowly but then the moment you ate a bit of it, it just melts into the mouth.
- Mushroom: Peppery, well roasted and isn't too oily.
- Cherry tomatoes: Felt buttery, well roasted however too sour for me!
- Bagel with ham: Felt normal, thick and soft but the black sesame on the bagel is really appetizing.
- Sausage: I thought it was a normal sausage, but it was actually a cheese sausage! Soft and cheesy but at the same time salty.
- Salad: Topped with ranch sauce. The salad is really crunchy!
- Nachos with rich sauce of tomato has the best combination ever!

Left: Tomato basil spaghetti (RM 22.9 ~ SGD$7.24)
- Rich flavoured tomato base.
- Nothing really appealing. Tasted normal.
- Mushroom and meat was soaked with the tomato base, so it was a balanced overall taste!
- Poached egg didnt flow out like what i expected it would be even though it looks wobbly.

Right: Carbonara (RM21.9 ~ SGD$7)
- Not creamy enough. It felt too dry to be carbonara.
- Pasta is too dry.
- Same problem, the poached egg didnt flow out.
- Mushroom and ham did not absorb the sauce. Each ingredient consisting only their own individual taste. There wasnt any balanced at all.

Finally, to the coffee part!! I finally having proper caffeine session but i guess too overly caffeinated! We ordered 2 filterbrew coffee and an Espresso!

Both of our filter brew coffee was done through Syphon - balanced of both acidity and bitterness of the coffee which i preferred the most! There was a demonstration on how these coffee were made through Syphon and the barista that, Aegis, was really friendly!
Syphon Papandayan (RM14~ SGD$4.4)
- Citric and acidic
- Balanced of bitter and acidic
- The coffee beans are well- roasted!

Syphon Irish Coffee (RM28 ~ SGD$8)
- Alcoholic drink (Whisky)
- Whisky was being heated under the hot flame before so some of the alcoholic content will vaporized therefore, not too strong
- Topped with whipped cream, together with the coffee and whisky, it really brings the coffee to another rich level! You could taste 3 different flavor blending in together!

Moving on to the Espresso, decided to get a Hazelnut latte (RM11.9 ~ SGD$4)
- Creamy
- Strong hazelnut taste
- Strong nutty aftertaste
- Not that hot enough, semi-hot. So i wasnt really able to taste the other much.
- Stable latte art! Even if the coffee was left alone for long period, no bubbles could be seen on the foam!

Lastly, after main course and while enjoying coffee, definitely need a dessert to end the trip!
So we ordered a Tiramisu (RM15.9 ~ SGD$5).
- Chocolaty that contains certain amount of alcoholic content.
- Not too creamy nor sweet!
- Firm yet melts straight in your mouth
- When it was left for a long period of time, you wouldnt see the tiramisu going out of shape or melting away! Which means the cream for this tiramisu is really good!!!

I would DEFINITELY be back again! There is so much i wanted to know and to sit back and enjoy the vibe/ environment!
