Populus Cafe

Needed my daily caffeine and so i decided to drop by at Populus to have brunch as well, i mean.. why not! Populus seem rather busy today, it was almost bustling with customers today!
- Not really spacious. Narrow lanes everywhere.
- The tables are like 5-7 inch apart.
- Brown wooden tiles aliked furnished walls with classic lighting. Making the overall vibe an up-class cafe or you could say an up-class restaurant 😂 

Populus Scramble

Populus Scramble topped with cheese - Signature soft creamy scrambled eggs, fresh herb melange, marinated feta, streaky bacon, toasted croissant ($18.5)

- Kinda like the fact that their croissant is quite cripsy and soft! 

- Thick-ness and softness of the scrambled eggs are just right! 

- Felt that the egg literally just melts in your mouth. Combo with the croissant is just ohmygwad.

- However the bacon was salty for me to even continue.

Rwanda cyebumba lot 1 - Fully washed

Rwanda cyebumba lot 1 ($6.50).

- Taste is not too acidic.

- Tasted a little bit of burnt coffee beans? (For me personally i tasted it that way, maybe cause there was too many customers so...) 

Any way there are much more filter coffees and all but this was recommended by the staff there. Great ambiance but definitely not the place to chit-chat and hang out for long conversations.
