The Cafe Plain Jane

Finally after months of busy schedule.. I finally had the time to settle in and chill.
Finally being able to visit this cafe at Serangoon area.

Very simple interior design of the cafe layout, white furnished walls, vintage look with wooden tables and chairs. The Plain Jane is famous for their swiss rolls that caters to many variety of flavours. Not only do they have swiss rolls, they have loafs and cakes too!

Didnt try their swiss rolls cause my eyes were set on their zesty lemon yogurt loaf. 

Ordered the zesty lemon yogurt loaf matched with ice latte.

- Soft on the inside, hard and crusty on the outside.

- Definitely able to taste the sour and sweet lemon-ness. It went uber good together

- Sugar coating enhances the overall flavor too!

- Ice latte was good, felt like it was on par with the different cafe out there! (in my opinion of course)

This is a very nice place to have mini chattering sessions. Quiet and Peaceful. Light bites with good coffee. Might pop-by again to have their swiss roll. Definitely!
