Symmetry

Symmetry, having an Australian- french vibe filled with loud funky music, just the right kind of atmosphere to pumped up the weekend after much tiring draining week.
Looking hipster, rustic kind of vibe from the inside and outside. The moment you walked in, you will be greeted with loud funky songs (it's so loud that i do not feel it as a right place to talk in the cafe) and great service from the crew. Wooden furnished walls and chairs of the interior layout. It was kinda small to walk around when it's crowded, but they do have an outside seating area for you to chill in big groups.
The menu was filled with lots of coffee related drawings filled with pretty fine details. You don't get to see such menu somewhere in Singapore.. or maybe there is but i just didn't manage to encounter it yet.
Ordered the Symmetry Eggs Benedict ($20sgd). To be very honest with you, the Eggs Benedict got me on cloud9 that i feel that it is so worth the $20.
The eggs are not those typical poached egg you see or taste in the other cafes. This has a watery flowy yolk topped with bacon and fine sweet sauce of mushrooms spreaded on the muffins. Eat it altogether, the flowy yolk + mushrooms + bacon + muffin. YUM. The combination of the sweet mushrooms and yolk enhances the overall taste. I liked it SO much. As for the fried potatoes, to be honest i was afraid that it would be very oily but to my surprised, it was crunchy and well done! DAM. The dish may looks small but it was quite fulfilling for me. Really enjoyed this plate of eggs ben!
My flat white came shortly after,
Well balanced taste with the creamy milk and the foam. Smooth down the throat that does not have a strong bitter aftertaste. Usually they do have a cookie for you to go together with the coffee but i think they were too overly packed with people that day so i didn't managed to have one :(((.

Better luck next time round i guess hehe.
